i am still trying to figure out how to get pictures downloaded on this site......maybe i will get some before this trip is over!
we had a great trip over. 9 hours, 2 meals, 2 snacks, no sleep, 1 spill, and 50 trips to the bathroom later, we arrived in rome. the children have been real troopers---not one complaint! We checked in (it was morning in rome) and went and had pizza for lunch. after a nap, we all woke up and headed out to see the Santa Maria Maggorio, one of the most beautiful cathedrals in rome. it is the only cathedral in rome that was not damaged by a great earthquake that happened in the 1300s or by any war. we were only there for about an hour, and barely scratched the surface. we will hopefully go back sometime this trip.
we then went for dinner and all had a wonderful time together. i will write more tomorrow.....or today :)
